Once again, join fellow atheists to volunteer at Second Harvest’s Cypress Center. We will be sorting food at the warehouse to prepare it for distribution. We are now officially allotted 12-person slots for July and August, and a few more than that are welcome. Bring on the volunteers!
Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required. Everyone must be at least 14 years old. Anyone 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Second Harvest suggests that volunteers consider bringing a donation of non-perishable foods. High-protein items like peanut butter and tuna are preferable along with canned meals like stew or soup.
