This year the San Jose Pride Festival‘s theme is Diversity, Inclusion, Success
Let’s show our support to the LGBT community as allies.
The parade will start at St. John st. & Market st., winding down at Market & Park Avenue.
We will be meeting at the tip of Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park at 10am, close to where the parade will end at Park and Market. The parade will be going from St. John to Park on Market st, so do not expect to be able to cross the parade route by car.
Please wear your ACSJ wear! You may purchase a black limited edition shirt for $10 at the next Wednesday event. Just ask Directors Lyn, Jason, Donnie or Sean for help doing so. You’re also welcome to make a positive sign to display to those in the parade and other parade watchers.
After the parade, the Sunday festival goes from 11am –6pm on Almaden Blvd. (Entrance gates at Park Ave. & San Fernando St.) There is also a dance party Saturday night, and you’re welcome to suggest a meetup if you want your fellow atheists to join you for that.
