Once again we are joining SkeptiCal: the Northern California conference of science and skepticism, a day-long event with speakers, panels, and discussions on a wide array of subjects.
“More provocative than ever, topics will include rational examinations of race, pornography, fake news, the latest science facts and fiction around the brain, this year’s solar eclipse, and challenges to popular assumptions of urban legends. Information on our speakers and their topics may be found on our website: SkeptiCalCon.com.
We work hard to make this a thought-provoking (timely subjects), top-notch (world-class speakers), low-cost (under $50), one-day conference. Discount rates are available before May 15th with special rates for BAS/SAS members and students (current student ID required), so book early! We also offer t-shirts for an additional fee (available with your registration).”
If you are interested in volunteering as an ACSJ representative, please ask Donnie and Kurtis how you might be able to help. It is possible that ACSJ can reimburse you for your ticket as well, but please buy your ticket prior to May 15th at the discounted rate.
