There are thousands upon thousands of brilliant, courageous, and curious students in America who don’t base their morality on the supernatural. A tiny handful of them speak out and passionately engage any resistance they face. Far more would love to speak out more often, but are legitimately worried about the backlash they might face.

The Secular Student Alliance empowers secular students to proudly express their identity, build welcoming communities, promote secular values, and set a course for lifelong activism.

Lyz Liddell, Director of Campus Organizing, and August Brunsman, Executive Director of the Secular Student Alliance will be here to explain how secular student organizations are growing, and why we should be excited about it. Along with Lyz and August, regional campus organizer Dan Pemberton will be here and is inviting local secular students to join us. This will be a great opportunity for us to meet and encourage the future of the secular movement.

We hope to see you tonight as we hear first-hand how secularism is thriving in colleges and high schools across the nation.
