Mild California autumn days are here again: beautiful beach weather without the crowds. Who thinks of the beach in November?? Creative thinkers, that’s who!
Hang out with your fellow ACSJ members at Seabright State Beach in Santa Cruz. We’ll snag a fire ring on the beach early in the day, and we’ll start blaspheming around noon.
Sunset on this day is 4:57 p.m., and the beach closes (rather, the rangers kick us out) at 10 p.m. We plan to have an ACSJ sign or at least a big “A” to show you where we are.
Bring food or beverages to share (remember, this is an alcohol-free beach). Restrooms (with flushing potties!) are available. Dogs and kids are welcome, including dogs who are your kids. The weather cools down a lot in the afternoons and evenings, so dress in layers. You might want to bring something to sit on, too.
So, about food and beverages: In the comments section of this posting, tell what you’ll bring. Firewood is especially welcome (no, not to eat). Rain cancels. Check this site a day or so before the event if the weather looks iffy. Good weather = good times!
