One Wednesday night per year we pay homage to our early ACSJ beginnings, back when we would meet in the small party rooms at Round Table Pizza. So, tonight we are breaking our usual lecture format and getting together for pizza night! And if you are a practicing Pastafarian…*insert joke here*

We don’t think that Round Table can accommodate us, so check out the Tailgate Room at Rookies Sports Lodge!

We have reserved the back room which will hold about 40 people, but in case we have a large crowd, we can spill out in to the restaurant. They also have a full bar, so you can hang out there if you only want to have a beer.

Rookies has a robust menu of various items including burgers, salads and sandwiches. The ACSJ is going to pay for the first round of pizzas and a few appetizers. So come early if you want to partake of the free food! However, everyone is on their own for drinks and any additional food. Rookies has asked us not to run tabs for each individual, so pay for your drinks as you get them. And due to the nature of it being a sports bar, Rookies has also asked us to keep the membership at 21-years or older. Sorry, no kids at this pizza party.

We are going to set the RSVP for 55 people to make sure we don’t overload the place, so if you RSVP – please do attend. And if your plans change, please update your RSVP – as we will have the wait-list in effect.

Look for Rookies next to the THREE FLAMES RESTAURANT on Meridian Ave in San Jose. If you are coming from the 280 exit, it will be on the right side of the street. Plenty of parking available, but please carpool if you can. 

Rookies is open until midnight, so you can hang out as long as you want. We will likely put the pizza orders in at 7:00pm and start eating around 7:30pm.
