The ACSJ Community Forum is our new format for 2018 to empower ACSJ members voices and have important discussions within our community.

This month’s topic: Emotional Support and Atheism. Many atheists focus themselves on the intellectual endeavors of the atheist movement through reason, critical thinking, and skepticism. But we’re still humans and as humans, we have emotional needs as well. One of the things that religious institutions have over many established atheist communities is this sense of emotional support, specifically during times of grief or difficult personal trials. This evening we will explore this subject by discussing how atheists deal with our emotions, the emotions of others and how we can support each other during times of difficulty.

There will be many segments throughout the night and a lot of great discussions to be had. Please read below for the schedule.
